MakeUrMove Celebrates Its Own Awards Season

PropTech Recognition

MakeUrMove has been recognised by two prestigious organisations in a double whammy of achievements.

The online letting & property management platform has been ranked 15th in the 2021 PropTech50 list, curated by technology news and views website Business Cloud.

The list showcases the UK’s most innovative property technology creators for real estate, construction, the built environment and building management. Winners range from home smart tech software to virtual property tour platforms, encompassing a broad range of sectors.

Around 120 companies were shortlisted for inclusion in the Top 50 with the final ranking decided by a combination of an independent judging panel, a public vote and Unissu’s UniScore PropTech data platform.

Meanwhile, Alexandra Morris, managing director of MakeUrMove, has been shortlisted in the Female Entrepreneur category at the Forward Ladies Leadership Summit and Awards 2021.

The event, to be held virtually on November 26th, celebrates the achievements of outstanding female business leaders from across the country. Finalists are selected for excelling in their field and making an exceptional contribution in business.

Forward Ladies is a global community of women working in partnership with leaders and progressive organisations to close the gender gap in business. Its mission is to connect women to opportunities and expertise that will empower them to reach the top in their business lives.

Hosting the summit will be Maila Reeves, an angel investor in disruptive technology businesses and one of Tech City Insider’s top 100 Tech People in the UK. The former lawyer is a mentor and strategy consultant to start-ups and social enterprises.

Speakers will include Anna Keeling, MD of Boeing Defence UK, Scarlett Allen-Horton, founder of global executive search firm Harper Fox Search Partners and former finalist on TV’s The Apprentice, and Forward Ladies CEO and international corporate consultant and trainer Griselda Togobo.

Alexandra, who launched MakeUrMove in 2008 said: “We’re thrilled to have appeared in the PropTech50 alongside fellow businesses who are also successfully transforming the property industry with ground-breaking tech.

“Innovation is our passion and at MakeUrMove we’ll continue to offer our clients the hardest-working tech to make their lives easier.

“Personally, it’s an honour to be shortlisted for a Forward Ladies award. I’m in some very impressive company and am looking forward to finding out about the winners in November.”
