Annual Electrical Safety Certificate

* This is not an Electrical Installation Condition Report

Landlords have a duty of care to ensure that all electrical installations and equipment are maintained in a safe condition throughout the rental period. This certificate is produced by a qualified electrical engineer and is valid for a period of 12 months. It includes:

visually inspect six electrical appliances
carry out a polarity and earth fault loop test on some random sockets.
establish if the correct protective bonding conductors are present
test the RCD
assess the condition of the consumer unit

We also offer an Electrical Installation Condition Report (EICR) which is a more detailed electrical inspection service.
